I attended Michigan State University as an undergraduate and Grand Canyon University for graduate school. I have a Bachelor Degree in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Special Education with a triple endorsement for Learning Disabilities, Emotional Impairment and Cognitive Impairment. I have also been certified as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Coach. I am certified as a Mental Health First Aid Responder to better serve our high school students as well as a member of our Crisis Prevention Team.

 

I have 2 daughters who are EDDIES alumni. Caitlin is also a Spartan Alumni and is currently finishing her Master's degree in Psychology. Chelsea attends Trine University where she plays golf and is majoring in Business Administration.

I have been married to my husband, Jason, for 23 years and we are proud residents of Edwardsburg.
