Willkommen to the German Language Instruction informational page! 

 

We offer 4 years of German Language instruction at Edwardsburg High School. German I introduces basic concepts, frequently-used vocabulary, simple conversations, and an introduction to the culture of German-speaking countries.

 

German II dives deeper into more complex grammatical structures, readings and conversations. We begin to make comparisons between cultures and connections to history. 

 

Advanced German A and Advanced German B is a rotating curriculum. We put the first two years into practice, alternating between grammar review/application, readings, and projects. And festivals :) 

 

All of our levels utilize games, singing, performing, videos, music, and Spaß (fun)!
